Alexandria’s solo performances have brought her to the world’s most illustrious stages, from Carnegie Hall in New York City to the Salle Cortot in Paris, as well as the most intimate of venues, such as the French Embassy in New York City to the Hamptons’ Parrish Museum.

A winner of over twenty first-prize music awards, she is a laureate of the Pro Musicis International Award and the Ackerman Chamber Music Competition. In 2012, she won a coveted position with Ensemble Connect (the prestigious fellowship run by Carnegie Hall, the Juilliard School and the Weill Institute of Music) and performed regularly at Carnegie Hall, the Juilliard School, and other venues around New York City.

As a collaborator and chamber musician, she appears in concert with principal players of leading orchestras and ensembles. She has held multiple collaborative residencies at the Banff Centre of the Arts, and her playing appears on Centaur Records with flutist Suzanne Snizek. In 2015, she produced the 3-day Las Vegas Wine & Music Festival which brought together 23 world-class artists including Philip Setzer (9-time Grammy-winning violinist) among others. Her NYC-based ensemble, The Colonials, commissioned new works and premiered six new variations—from six separate composers—for Schubert’s masterpiece, The “Trout” Quintet.

Alexandria’s breadth of experience in keyboard playing experience includes playing harpsichord in early (Baroque) ensembles led by Harry Bicket, to contemporary music ensembles working closely with Susanna Mälkki, John Corigliano, Steve Reich, Andy Akiho, Paul Wiancko, and Caroline Shaw, among many others. She also appears frequently with the Las Vegas Philharmonic as principal keyboardist.

She holds degrees from the Eastman School of Music and SUNY Stony Brook, where she received her Doctorate of Musical Arts in piano performance under a full-tuition scholarship.

Dr. Alexandria Le is an official Yamaha Artist.

Feature 1: Solo

Mozart's "12 Variations on Ah! Vous dirai-je Maman" is a wonderful traipse off of the familiar "Twinkle Twinkle." Before it was "Twinkle," it was a famous French nursery rhyme in the 1700s.

Sofia Gubaidulina’s provacative Chaconne, written in 1962, is a theme and seven variations based off a short harmonic progression.
