Touted as a “community leader” by the Las Vegas Review-Journal for her impactful arts advocacy, Alexandria has transformed lives through programs she has founded and led. She also contributes her expertise to other arts organizations as a trusted consultant and board member. She served on the executive board of the Las Vegas Music Teachers Association, where she was honored with a nomination to serve as president—an opportunity she respectfully declined to focus on larger artistic initiatives—and is a former board member of Opera Las Vegas.

Teaching Artist work with Carnegie Hall and Nevada Arts Council

From 2012-2014, Alexandria was a Teaching Artist for Carnegie Hall’s Weill Education, performing over 60 outreach performances at schools, hospitals, assisted living facilities, and jails. She also co-led a piano class in Brooklyn for 4th and 5th graders. She is currently a Teaching Artist for the Nevada Arts Council.

Opera Las Vegas Board Service

During her year of board service with Opera Las Vegas—coinciding with the first year of the pandemic—Alexandria played a pivotal role in securing the company’s stability and positioning it for long-term growth. She drove the two largest donations in its 24-year history, led it to its first sold-out performance, recruited pro bono legal counsel that successfully negotiated with the local union, hired its first professional development team, and vetted the marketing consultant behind the organization’s successful rebrand.
